Grow at Clark Gardens March 2025

Join Clark Gardens in this annual celebration of opening for the spring season. Each March a month-long festival, Grow at Clark Gardens, is hosted.

Grow at Clark Gardens is all about enriching lives through art, wellness, and nature-based activities.

There is something for everyone. While many of the activities are included with the purchase of a general admissions ticket, some events require tickets to be purchased in advance and some have additional fees that apply. All details can be found below.

We would like to give a big shout out to all the amazing sponsors who help make this festival a possibility.

During 2025’s Grow at Clark Gardens each weekend will have a different theme: Grow Wild, Let’s Go Girls, Grow Together – Through Horticulture & Holi Celebration, Grow West – Celebrating Texas Heritage, and Let the Good Time Grow.

Chris Wiesinger

Southern Bulbs by Chris Wiesinger

Time/Location: 2:00pm - 3:00pm in the Chapel

Chris Wiesinger founded The Southern Bulb Company in 2004 along with several friends in an attempt to recapture that which was once "lost" to the Southern gardener: bulbs that thrive in warm climates.

Chris began collecting bulbs when he was young. He used his bulb passion for a college project at Texas A&M which then grew into a lifestyle and business. Chris sought out heirloom and rare flower bulbs like the red spider lily. Mr.Wiesinger was featured in a New York Times story that affectionately dubbed him "The Bulb Hunter." Chris later used that as the title for his book in 2013 when he wrote, "The Bulb Hunter," which details his life as a bulb collector and farmer. Chris loves to share his passion for life and bulbs with others. His talk shares the stories of collecting, conveys valuable horticulture knowledge of bulbs, offers ideas and examples for using bulbs in the landscape, and delights the listener with a journey filled with beautiful forgotten places.
