Join Clark Gardens in this annual celebration of opening for the spring season. Each March a month-long festival, Grow at Clark Gardens, is hosted.
Grow at Clark Gardens is all about enriching lives through art, wellness, and nature-based activities.
There is something for everyone. While many of the activities are included with the purchase of a general admissions ticket, some events require tickets to be purchased in advance and some have additional fees that apply. All details can be found below.

During 2025’s Grow at Clark Gardens each weekend will have a different theme: Grow Wild, Let’s Go Girls, Grow Together – Through Horticulture & Holi Celebration, Grow West – Celebrating Texas Heritage, and Let the Good Times Grow.

Come one, come all to the Grow Wild - Dr. Seuss Day Celebration! Join us for a day filled with whimsical fun and imagination as we honor the beloved children's author, Dr. Seuss. Dress up as your favorite Seussian character, participate in story telling sessions, and enjoy colorful arts and crafts activities. Let your creativity run wild with interactive games inspired by Dr. Seuss's fantastical world. Mark your calendars and get ready for a day of laughter, learning, and lots of Seuss-tastic adventures at Clark Gardens!

Let your imagination sore into the word of "The Lorax" as Brandi Barker, the owner of Downtown Crafting DIY Studio, walks attendees through the steps of creating a Truffula Tree. This is a fun and colorful project to let your artistic abilities shine. We have no doubt the final product will add a touch of whimsy to any room or occasion, and makes for a wonderful decoration or gift for fans of the beloved book. Let your imagination Grow Wild as you bring this magical trees to life!

Bring your journal to life! This interactive workshop, lead by Rose McCombs Jordan & Shirl Hawes, will teach you to combine drawing, mindfulness, and practical organization to create a journal that reflects your unique journey. You’ll leave with a sample journal filled with creative inspiration and tools for daily reflection.

Rose McCombs Jordan is author, speaker, and podcaster known for encouraging personal growth through creativity and reflection. As the founder of Beneath The Fig Tree, she helps women integrate meaningful practices into their busy lives. In this workshop, she’ll guide you through journaling techniques that bring clarity and inspiration, helping you connect more deeply with your spiritual and personal journey.
Shirl Hawes, is an experienced and certified Zentangle teacher (CZT) with a passion for creativity. When she's not journal doodling, you can find her lost in the pages of a good book or gardening. As a retired teacher and world traveler, Shirl's zest for life is contagious, and her gentle spirit shines through in all she does. During her downtime, she enjoys playing the piano, volunteering in her community, and knitting up cozy creations. Shirl is not just an educator; she is a kind soul who brings warmth to every lesson.
