Howard Garrett, The Dirt Doctor, will explain how a simple, natural organic program for gardening and landscaping on residential and commercial projects works better in every way – including from an economic standpoint. He will show how his management program can result in a 40-50% cost savings in water use and will also answer specific questions from the audience about pests, plants and procedures.
Howard received his Bachelor of Science degree in park administration and landscape architecture from Texas Tech University in 1969. In 1985, the birth of Howard's daughter was the turning point of his entrance into organic gardening, landscaping, farming, and ranching. By 1988 he had committed his entire career to the research, education and promotion of organic products and practices. Howard provides advice on natural organic gardening, landscaping, pet health, pest control and natural living. He can be heard Sundays from 8-11am on KSKY 660AM and in over 200 markets across the nation. His books cover many subjects related to organic gardening and healthy living.
