Celebrating Trees Through Hands-On
LearningTexas Arbor Day brings learning to life for fourth-grade students through a day of hands-on exploration at Clark Gardens. Students discover the importance of trees and the role they play in our communities, environment, and everyday lives.
It’s an opportunity to step outside the classroom, experience nature up close, and develop a deeper appreciation for the trees that help Texas thrive.
Texas Arbor Day invites fourth graders to explore the gardens while learning about trees through interactive activities and observation. Students discover how trees grow, why they matter, and how caring for them helps protect the environment for the future.
The program also includes time for students to enjoy a picnic lunch together in the gardens, creating a full field-trip experience that combines learning, exploration, and time outdoors.
